Day 21: Welllllll

Welllllll I had Day 21 written.  I just pulled up my blog app to post it only to find that my draft had not been saved.  Oh well.  A quick re-write is in order then, with Day 22 soon to follow.

What can I say of Day 21? Basics: 18 km, ow my feet, yay perfect weather, hello Leon cathedral.

We were back in city life for one evening, and it was a lovely city.

During the walk, we ran into Padre.  He was resting at a picnic table next to an advertisement for an albergue that looked like this:
Chuckling, Padre walked over to the sign and pointed first to the bed and said, "Christopher," next to the fork and knife and said, "Erin," and finally to the cup and said, "Vino, Patrick."  Well, there you have it folks.  Padre has gotten to know us well enough to make fun of us.  And now, his antics are endless.  He is quite the character :)

Check the chapel right next to our albergue :D  I very much enjoyed this plaza during our short stay.

Thus the pilgrimage commences.  Everyday is a challenge to make it ever new.  The day is always indeed new, and the grace is there--I just have to keep moving! Onto Day 22! Blog post coming soon :)
