Day 19: Baby Pilgrim!

Today was an exciting day because we welcomed a new member into our pilgrim family.  Friends, family, it gives me great joy to announce the arrival Patrick, aka Baby Pilgrim.  Welcome to the Camino, Baby Pilgrim!!!

Oh wait, this is better...

Patrick is a friend from back home.  He came to meet us half way into the Camino.  Yay!  We picked him up in Sahagun, halfway through our 20km day today, so Baby Pilgrim had a baby intro.  We'll see how tomorrow goes.  Maybe it will be less rainy...

At least it was a beautiful rainy day :)

We walked with Padre for a while today.  Usually, we don't see him while we 're walking, so it was nice.

Annnnnd I saw my first sunflower field!  I had heard that they were a beautiful sight to see along the Camino, but I hadn't seen any yet.  Well, today was the day!  I hope there are more to come.

As we rolled into town (well, walked into town), Sunday Mass was just starting.  Alleluia, thank You Jesus!  Happy Sunday to all!
